At least for Win98 / XP. Just downloaded them and they really bumped up my score. Using an Athlon 2100 and Ti4600 I went from about 9800 to 10627 with no tweaking/overclocking, and Verticle sync on. I haven't bumped up the other settings yet. Looks good so far. They can be downloaded from Gur3d.com and all you have to do is click on the exe file.

Look at the tweaking article on the homepage to help your score a bit.

It won't be higher with V-Sync on, Fragmented drive, all my other stuff running in the backround. I know I can and would get higher but think instead I will be bumping up all the settings for more eye candy. I posted the message so people who didn't know would be able to give them a shot, as they installed painlessly and think they are an improvement. I shall see as I haven't played a game yet. Time to bump up the
Antialiasing to 4X and try out Texture Sharpening, 8X Antisotropic Filtering. Oh, and get a beer.

What drivers did you come from. I got an increase like that going from the 30.30's to the 40.41's. Did they fix the damn refresh rate problem yet?

Machine I got rid of the Asus drivers I was using and I'm using the v30.82 now. It seems like my FPS have gone to crap. On the link I posted above they have a tool to delete/clean all 3X.XX drivers so they don't corrupt the 4X.XX drivers. What do you know about this procedure? Is it nessarary?

I didn't use it. I went to the 40.41's from the 30.30's and gained almost 900 points on 3dmark.

30.82's are not that great. Why are you not using to 40 series drivers?

I'm fixing to upgrade them now.
BTW I'm talking about my old machine with the Asus GF2 GTS.

What version drivers were the old Asus drivers built on?

I think they were the 28.90's. I have been migrating all my stuff into my new Antec case and hadn't gotten around to tweaking anything yet. I didn't un-unstall anything, just ran the exe and rebooted. I think the graphics are a little sharper and it is running smooth with everything maxed out without overclocking anything. I put in a Volcano 7+ and everything is running cooler so I might play around overclocking a bit in the future.

I went from regular nvidia drivers..30.82 to the detonator 40.41 got an increase of 175 on my 3dMark score...but had error messages...thunkconnect32 and missing file.....removed that driver rebooted installed det. 40.52 got an increase of 218 over the old 30.82 driver with no error messages at all....yee ha....thanks y'all for heading me in the right direction.

Here is a question.........I have a ti 4200 128mb. card...running powerstrip, has any of you overclocked this card? and how high did you go before you stopped?.........I have mine at
Engine clock........285 mhz
Memory clock......455 mhz
It is very stable in SE and 3dMark at this speed no flickers or anything.
I am a little nervous at going higher due to the fact that I scorched my last card which was a MX420 64mb
