wow, i thought this was going to be about your sex life. i guess i'll wait for the 4-year thread to talk about that.
well, you should know that deathcount seperates those people that play to have fun and those people that whine about everything. some people have a naturally low deathcount. good for them. others make deathcount a playing style. Not so good, but what evah. Just F9 and it won't look so bad...

I play for fun, whine and have a natural talent for high deathcount.

DH you sound different
I suppose a death count doesn't really matter - as long as you have fun? =D

heh. i always have a high death count (well, it depends what "high" means. It's never higher than my frag rate), but then again, I never really play "seriously" anyway. If I did play seriously, then I'd probably get mad and stuff, and that's no fun.
It's not like I COULD play seirously anyway. Stupid lag.
Basically > low death count is always good, but it depends on who you are if you get a high one. So technically, it doesn't really matter, unless you are just some weirdo who thinks he's king of the world (and probably isn't having much fun)

Yep, that's pretty much what I feel too.
I find my deathcount is low if no one is fraaging quicker than me. If there is, then I go crazy in the thick of everything and my deathcount goes bananas :D

13. Signature size. Signatures can be no larger than 500x150 pixels and 300k. Please do not attempt to skirt around the rule by using multiple large pictures. We are looking to keep GameMecca surfer friendly for all users. There are a few signatures still in use here that are larger and have been 'grandfathered' in because they were in use before this rule took effect. If that person changes their signature graphic to a new one, it will have to comply with the new size rule. If we find your signature to obnoxious or offensive we will change it for you or you will be asked to change it.
When I win, the score is usually like 36-40.. lol.

Omg Morph lives...
To answer DH's question.... I just try and keep the death count lower than my frag count :D But some people are anal about it I guess.

Is not important Die Hard, look Turbo Charger for example,he is super good and he got 55 deaths the other day...
The most important thing you have to do if you play serious is try to win the match with the less deathcount as you can
And if you prefer play for fun,it doesn't matter to lose the game and get the worse deathcount.
Your decision is in your hands, lol
I like often play serious when i play with my name Sephiroth or when i played as The Winged Angel :)

I don´t like the "seek-and-hide-low-deathcount-strategy" I prefer more
the "here-I-am,-come-out-honey,-let´s-spank-eachother-strategy" that´s why I have
usually a high deathcount..it´s FUN :wootrock:  http://www.my-smileys.de/smileys3/mup.gif:P

The thing what can be most annoying is playing against those who wanna reach a perfect. RUN RUN RUN and just shooting/spamming around... and once you killed them... they leave....
yeye, gaming for fun

I don't see how some people can have low death counts game after game, mine was always at a 1:1 ratio.

Oh it's very possible Sho. It just requires loads of practice. :D

My deathcount is nearly always lower than my fragcount but I think it depends on many things: the players, the number of players, the level... Well I think it's better to keep it low if possible!

This sux.
I guess everyone is happy if he gets a perfect. But there is a different between the guys who leave immediately if they get killed and very good players, who are really able to make a perfect but still stay in game if they've got a bad day. First of them have just a bad charachter and can't lose. Shit on 'em.
I look on the deathcount, but i don't leave. If my deathcount makes my eyes bleedy, i begin to blow myself. That's funny.

Hmm. Well, doing perfects it's very hard. Low death count is hard too of course. But both not impossible.
