The gamemecca.net server is finally up and running. Thank you to everyone who made donations to this server. The server is hosted in Dallas, Texas, which was close to where Outlaws server was hosted, my ping is better than outlaws and I hope it will be the same for everyone else as well.

Server Name: Gamemecca.net Limited Edition
Difficulty: Serious
Maps: Default maps, i need to fix that so its just what outlaws was.
Player slots: 12

Feels smooth and good. Ping was 250 when I joined and was alone. Weird thing is the more people that joined the lower my ping became? Great news :jammin:

Everything is fixed, map rotation, no pausing, 36 frags, etc. The server is good to go now :)

You didnt want anything to make it personally yours (including donators i guess) for all the hard work you put into it? you know, like, something minor so its not EXACTLY like Outlaws server. it could be like, 38 frags, or something small like that.

The idea of this was not only to let people know my clan is recruiting but to build on GM and its members.

I put alot of work into this server and made it happen, there were so many people that also helped make this happen and I am grateful for their help. I feel that because if it wasnt for me the server wouldnt be where it was now and would never be up at all, so i felt a little bit of my hardwork can be noticed..

In all honesty I don't want to be causing any drama but you didnt contribute and then you complain...

It does promote Gamemecca as much as my clan, if it just said Gamemecca and nothing else than there is no difference between Gamemecca Limited Edition because both titles promote Gamemecca equally. :P

Aw I wouldn't say that. I would gladly learn a game that's as much fun as Serious Sam, however a such a game has yet to come out. Of course we're all eagerly awaiting UT3 and a couple other multiplayer titles which will hopefully be released before the end of this year. :)

The server is being ridiculous. I had to pw protect it to see if maybe someone was hacking it because it had huge lag spikes and was unplayable constantly for everybody. I set one up and tested it and it was just the server. I have been speaking with AOWC the server provider and they said there was some maintenance where the server was located causing the problems and should be done. Its not pw protected anymore but it won't matter because we have to wait a few days till it stops lagging :/
