Driver question

I inherited my brothers computer and I need to do a fresh windows XP install...

it is a Athlon 64 on an ASUS A8V motherboard... of course I cant find the installation CD and I have never done this before

if I remember correctly I will not be able to get on Internet without the lan driver so I need to save the drivers before I reinstall Windows XP

I have searched ASUS site and others and im really confused.. so many versions, and when I downloaded one it was a .rom ??

Do I need to download audio driver and lan driver seperately ? does it matter which CPU I have?
