Wow, really thought sam would be as awful as it is but really this is an absolute joke, do people even play it for fun anymore or is just for the fact that they can win at something, last i remember cheats\bugs of which are of the norm now were a rarity back when the game was active, but now it seems everyone cannot live without abusing in one form or another to win.. i mean the amount of people ive seen on 1.05 today with (crouch bug\head in arse etc) has been pretty depressing and on 1.07 the number of strafers(tho netcodes fault, but still no need for everyone to use this really annoying bug), using bugs in maps (aka yodeller\fortress over the map stuff), even swimming in hole/fortress seems to be the norm now.. also other sort of "odd" going ons all adding up to the obvious fact that theres few decent players still left, but hell i may have just been hoping for good ole days a bit to much.

Now to find the FE disk :thumbs:

I actually enjoy Mr. "Bring It" swimming in Hole and Fortress.......adds a new dimension to it. Note: I have never seen a swimmer actually win a map.

I play occaisionally and still enjoy it. I win some lose some and don't get mad if something seems amiss. I mean face it folks, no matter what game you play (online video, professional football, poker, old maid, etc) there will always be someone exploiting a bug. You want to play a game that takes skill and is hard to cheat at? I suggest you take up chess.:D

I don't know what servers you are playing in but in the GM server, there are no cheaters sicne we ban them all and there's even no powerups.

If chatting annoys you, just use the command to turn off chatting.

I love sam and I don't understand why people feel like you do sometimes. Don't looks for the faults in something, look for the good and positive aspects :)

darn i still play for fun, and to be honest, I have no clue how to cheat in this game (i mean, i could TRY, but that's STOOPID). and, i don't know how to swim either.
If you want to have fun, find me and US on the gamemecca server. we play every now and then. thats a good time (and no cheaters!)

not as many tho heh, and i meant old days as in good matches rather then it just be 2-3 people roaming around with the rest enjoying there camping spot

and i only play noname cos i really cba to mess with editor to make a name or anything tbh, and i always stay in game no matter how bad my score ends up :thumbs:, though i guess noname really isnt a good one to choose considering the amount of which do use it

Btw AI whens this game meant to be, you told me a 1v1 but so far ive not had a reply or been told when it will happen :thumbs:

and @ suicidal, would be cool though i usually do avoid gamemecca server, 300-350 ping usually which aint much cop when i can hop on figona/y-labs/anytime and get 150 or so heh

lol bite your tongue, FE might be dead for you, but it's not dead for me. I prefer it over SSSE. It's a different (easier) level of playing. Try doing a spawn kill or shooting someone who hasn't picked up a weapon yet, you'll get reminded of what "fair play" is. Quite refreshing compared to SSSE.

I play just about every day. Come join me, and I'll promise to take it easy on you. :D

Them days are over with clan wars in sam. They were one of the best time I had when playing. We also use to play Sniper a lot and that was fun in different maps with 3 or 4 against 4 or more but the best time I really had was when Shogun and I setup a FE we had about 12 to 16 players and it went on for about 3 to 4 hours of nothing but blood bath wars in the old days. Everyone showed up to play some left and more came to join in the fun and it was the best time of all. This happen when we was in the old Serious forum.

Everyone had a great time and not once there was anyone insulted of any kind but only GG and ty for the fun. That to me was the best time I ever had and until this day I still remember the fun.

I usually play after midnight on the Figona (I think that's their name) clan's server. I have a high ping on it, but sometimes that's the only server with players.
I play on Daf's server too (if there's anyone around).
CF just started running a server, but sometimes I don't have the map they're using. :)
Oh and yes I remember playing you a couple of months ago....you owned me, but as usual it was a fun game. :D
