Ben Affleck's first movie as director and well acted by Casey Affleck. Anyone else see this?

As a parent, I found this movie disturbing as hell. But one of the things I enjoyed was it was more true to life than any movie I've seen in a long time.

Good flick, but not a good date movie :thumbs:

It's on my list, but the theater up here (the only one within an hour) isn't playing it, so it'll have to wait for DVD for me.

This movie looks very powerful and it's on my list.
Ben Affleck (dir.) - Never was much of a fan of his, but this movies might just turn it around for me about him especially as a director.

Casey Affleck - Small role in Good Will he did a great job and this movie now plays a super role.

Michelle Monaghan - Plays a few movies including the Mission Impossible III, The Bourne Supremacy and more and has good range as an actress.

Morgan Freeman - Superstar actor.

Ed Harris - Another superstar actor.

This movie I will see and is a must on my list.

i dunno what i think about the trailer it dosent wake my interest in it at all it seems so sad really :( and it seems taken from the reality the story that was about the girl on the news in summers a blonde child was missing http://www.bbc.co.uk/leicester/content/articles/2007/05/10/madeleine_mccann_round_up_feature.shtml

Absolutely brilliant film. Hard to stomach, and hard to find the outcome "good" either way, but definitely, definitely worth the watch.

I haven't, but I probably will look for it now. You recommended it, and the chick was also in Juno, which she did a fantastic job in, even though I didn't like the movie that much.

I have to admit, before looking it up, I was afraid "Hard Candy" was a porno :P
