I'm sticking with XP until they drag me kicking and screaming to Vista next year when theres no more support for XP.

You may not have any problems but will you say it is faster than XP?

I myself like some of the features but not enough to not be able to run everything I need to run on my mainstream pc. Some htings need to be efficient all the time.

With 1 gig I definitely saw the difference. Night and Day. With 2 gig, it seems to run just as well as XP. Little enough difference that I don't notice an issue with gameplay. I've been very happy with it.

Without running benchmarks it's about the same to me. I have found faster response times, faster load times. Alot of this has to do with the CPU I have as well as the amount of Ram. All in all it's a decent OS

People that are complaining about Vista most likely have an ancient rig

You probably just use your computer for games and not work otherwise you would see what all of the people who bash the OS is talking about.

Well, i'm starting to study IT next year.. would be very bad if I only played with my pc :P
My PC can handle every game + it's my "work" pc

i have vista and so far absolutly no problems at all either. Also my computer does run faster than xp, from start up, shut down, programs and even downloading :D

the curious part is yes, ti always starts that way, yet a few months after seeing the systems go out reimaged, i see kids bring them back to us saying they're slow again (even the ones without limewire :rolleyes: )
