Vista 32-bit. I recently installed SP1 and have had no issues except for where the OS doesn't recognize my MP3 player anymore, but that seems to be a common Windows XP/Vista problem. I can kind of trick the OS of seeing the player as an external storage device but it's extremely tricky. I think the only way to solve my problem is to reinstall Vista.

Other than that everything works fine.

XP SP2

First begining with XP were pretty rocky considering my low-end system and the massive wave of bugs that hit XP when it first came out. In retrospect, perhaps we'll see the same changeover with Vista...
Since more patches came out, XP has served my purposes well, running programs fast and being overall pretty stable and easy to diagnose and troubleshoot when there is a problem.

Vista 64. Been on a it for a few months now. No software issues. No drivers issues. Just a pretty as heck interface. I've been perfectly happy with it thus far.

Will be installing the SP soon, but I wanted to give it time to prove itself first.

That's my home machine. My work machine is running Windows Server 2003. Also extremely happy with that. Very stable.

XP Pro with all the updates for years. It has been the most stable OS that I've used. I don't think I've ever gotten a blue screen or crash. I installed a registry cleaner (DOH)about two months ago and had to reinstall for the first time. Other than my own stupidy I've never had a problem.
:D

I won Vista Ultimate and will install whenever I get around to building my new pc.

You didn't have an option for Linux. :-P I use XP primarily at work with some Vista scattered in (against my wishes). At home I'm on a Ubuntu box.

XP Home SP2. Has been rock solid, very satisfied with performance.
I've used it since 2001 when I upgrade from Win95. lol.

XP Pro SP2, with the occasional hiccup. I've never had to re-install it though.
I ran Vista Ultimate on a pent4 machine for a bit, I had issues with the sound card, so I went back to XP (but with a Vista look alike interface).

XP Pro SP2 has always been my favorite OS, simply because all of the games today and in the future will run on XP and vista..it's the simplest OS to use I think too. Always stable, never had any problems with XP

Same goes with Dan2, been using it since 01'

Pretty much the same here as everyone else - XP Pro SP2.

It's been stable and for the system I currently have, it's not a resource hog.

I'd have to easily more than double my current system to have Vista and not have it be a resource hog. That, in my opinion, makes for a huge obstacle to my upgrade path and therefore my desire to look into it.

Windows XP x86. I've tried few times to install Vista, but this operating system is not good for me...

Anyway there is no reasons for unistalling XP. I will use it for a long time I hope :)
