I have been working on a new project and some of you already know of my previous works was pretty decent.

This is best one, in my opinion, out of all I have done. ITS STILL NOT COMPLETED! I've spent well over 20 hours on it. Give an opinion as to what you think of it!

pic with flash, and without. Couldnt decide what made it look better so whatever :)

That is really nice bud.

I was curious what it would look like retraced in vector format instead of raster. Here it is retraced and resized to 2000x1500, vector is not as smooth as raster so the shading is not as nice since it does each color portion as a curve, there are 754 curves in that one. Once it loads, click the box in the lower right.

"Objects in paper may look longer than they appear." It must look pretty long cuz you dont see the end of it. Looks like it just keeps going :P

It definitely shows that you put a lot of time into it. Great attention to detail especially to the clothes folding and the pendant. I used to love drawing figures in those kinds of poses. Now I seem to have lost my touch.

I never been a fan of this type of cartoons but I do appreciate art work and that's pretty good work.
I have my nephew who is 13 years old and he does a lot of this type of work and I also pick-up this software for him.

http://anime.smithmicro.com/index.php

You probably know of it but he does amazing work and he is now making a 5 min animated movie.

He is a bit stubborn because he likes to do it the old fashion way when animating, while I have all the latest software.
I did get him into Zbrush which is really amazing to create characters and it cost me over $500, but it's worth it and I like using it better then MudBox from maya.
The only problem with that is the it takes on too many polygons which you reduce once you transfer it to Maya or 3D Max but will need to make a few adjustments
when converting it over.
