I've recently (yesterday) started using Firefox exclusively and everytime I come back to the site I have to login and it's a PITA and this is the only site this is happening on. This did not happen on IE 6 or 7. I call myself checking the browser settings for Firefox to see if there is something i'm missing and do not see anything. And yes, i've checked the "Remember me" box when logging in.

Any ideas?

Nvm ... I'm in a fantasy baseball league and they have a realtime scoring option. It opens in a window, I had it open and was getting the login problems. I closed it and i'm not having the problem now.

Well I thought that was it, but it wasn't.

Any ideas why after a very short period of time it forgets my stuff and I have to log back in?

In Tools, Options, Security..is the " remember passwords for sites" button checked ?

Then again..I guess none of your sites would be remembered...:confused:


Dunno Sho...maybe it's a cookies thing..

Allow cookies as NB suggested?
Sometimes after an Ad-aware scan, it will delete tracking cookies and I have to log in to certain sites again.

or

Under Tools-options-Content. Check the Block Pop-up Windows and then hit the exceptions bar and allow the sites you would like.

or

Maybe allow java script for that page.

or

Give up and get the IE view extension.

I still have the problem. What is wierd is I installed Firefox because this other site I admin at uses some software that doesn't play well with IE and was just using Firefox for there only and IE everywhere else. Now I switch to using Firefox everywhere and end up with it not working well here. Grrrrr

I use Firefox on Ubuntu to view these forums. Never had a problem with the login being remembered. You may want to try deleting all of the cookies if you haven't already.
