Don't worry, this isn't that old rehashed Myspace bulletin that's been going around for the past few years :)

Just because you were born in '96 doesn't mean you're a 90's kid.

It's not like you could remember the original Simpsons.
Or Family Guy before it was re-made with all the dirty humor and cussing.
I am sorry but three conscious years of the 90's just wont cut it.

You're a 90's kid if:

You remember when SNITCHIN wasn't cool. O yea it still ain't

You remember watching:
-Doug
-Ren & Stimpy
-Pinky and the Brain
-AAAAAAAH Real Monsters!
-Rockos modern Life.
-Animaniacs
-Gargoyles
-Caaaaaptain Planet!!

You've ever ended a sentence with the word "PSYCHE!"

You just cant resist finishing this . . . "Iiin west Philadelphia born and raised . . ."

You remember:
-Step by Step
-Family Matters!!!
-Dinosaurs
-Boy Meets World!!!!
-THE FACTS OF LIFE
-Full House

You remember when it was actually worth getting up early
on a Saturday to watch cartoons.

You remember reading "Goosebumps"

You still get the urge to say "NOT" after (almost) every sentence . . . not

When everything was settled by:
-rock paper scissors or
-bubble gum bubble gum in a dish or
-ms. mary mack

when kick ball was a daily activity.

when we used to obey our parents

You used to listen to the radio all day long just to record your FAVORITE song of ALL time on a tape.

You remember when Super Nintendos and Sega Genisis became popular.

You remember The Original Game Boy.

You always wanted to send in a tape to America's Funniest Home Videos . . . but never taped anything funny.

You remember watching:
-The Magic School Bus
-Wishbone
-Reading Rainbow
-and Ghostwriter on PBS

You were obsessed with the paranormal due to Are You Afraid Of The Dark?, Goosebumps, Big Wolf On Campus, The New Adams Family and the Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark books.

After watching Salute Your Shorts you desperately longed to go to camp.

You remember when Nick and Fox Family were still good.

You always secretly wished to be slimed and be brought on to every Nick game show.

You don't find it odd to have a sketch comedy show involving a large ear of corn or an accident-prone man.

When buying drinks anywhere you order "WHO LOVES ORANGE SODA..."

Choosing teams by going "Stink in the barnyard, PU. Who could have done it? Not You." after figuring out that Bubble Gum could be abused to your advantage.

Hoping that that new computer game you wanted ran on Windows 95.

You had Street Sharks action figures and had them fight your GI Joes, Gargoyles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and your homemade Action League Now.

-You remember rushing to the TV set when the X Flies came so you could change the station. Or, if you did watch it, it was with no lights on.

-You had at least one article of shockingly bright clothes.

-You looked at your view master everyday. (Years later wondering why they never tapped into the porn market)

-You'd have never thought of game disks until the PS1 came out. Of course, then you had to rush out to see the "amazing graphics."

-You had everything you could have possibly bought for the N-64.

-You remember the awesome Twisted Metal commercials.

-You secretly watched My So Called Life.

-You absolutely refused to set foot in the woods after The Blair Witch Project.

-Watching younger kids break their necks after watching Rocket Power.

-You used to wear your hats backwards.

-You spent hours trying to learn all the words to One Week.

EDIT: Gowing up you either wanted to be Tony Hawk or Michael Jordan growing up sports-wise.

TRL? No, no, no, you watched Pop Up Video.

You remember when Yo-Yos were cool.
You remember those Where's Waldo books.
You remember eating Warheads and Splashers Gum.

You remember watching:
-the 1st Batman
-Aladdin
-Ninja Turtles
-ghost busters

You remember Ring Pops.

If you remember when every thing was "da BOMB!"

You remember boom boxes .vs. cd players.

Making those little paper fortune cookie things, and then predicting your life with them.

You played and/or collected "Pogs" :)

You had at least one Tamagotchi, GigaPet, or Nano and brought it everywhere.

Furbys

ONE WORD............TROLLS

Windows 95 was the best.

You watched the original cartoons of
-Rugrats
-Wild Thornberry's
-Power Rangers
-Rocket Power

All your school supplies were "Lisa Frank" brand.

You collected those Beanie Babies.

Carebears

Lambchop's song never ended.

Silver dollars, which were cool to have.

Everyone watched the WB.

If you even know what an original walkman is.

You know the Macarena by heart.

"Talk to the hand" . . . enough said

You went to McDonald's to play in the playplace.

You remember playing on merry go rounds at the playground.

When dares were settled like men, and included doubles, tripples, dragons, and dogs.

Before the MySpace frenzy . . .
Before the Internet & text messaging . . .
Before Sidekicks & iPods . . .
Before PlayStation3 or X-BOX 360 . . .
Before Spongebob . . .
Before Tupac was shot.
When light up sneakers were cool.
When you rented VHS tapes, not DVDs.

When gas was $0.95 a gallon.( i miss that)
When we recorded stuff on VCRs.
You had slap bracelets!
You Actually played outside until it was dark!

Way back.

Before we realized all this would eventually disappear.

your list is meaningless, lots of your items were rehashed for the 90s or existed long before the the 90s.

Well the light-up sneakers was definitely a 90's thing, but yeah, a lot of the rest isn't even 90s. GI Joe? That one made me laugh.

complaining makes me feel better :P

rofl everyone does anyway i saw a documentary on tv about rich and poor ppl in china this was in a village,

the kids whos 7 years old or younger get to see their parents 1 time in a year and thats on new year, because their parents were working so their kids can go to school,

the work was they got to carry some carpets in wood over a terrible bridge for each wood carpet they got less then a half 1 dollar.

its so sad cuz they lived in a room that are big as my toilett :S and had to pay 8 dollar every month...

they also took up in the documentary that to buy a aparment it will take 700 years for a poor worker in china to even BUY a aparment makes me so sad inside

its terrible so i will stop complain about shitty things really :( :(

what brooke my heart was the kids said they will try their best so they can get a good work and take care of their parents and make them proud over them. then they all started to cry :( that really made me sad

so again plz think before u complain on anything cuz we have it really better then most ppl out there...

the school cost for them 950 dollar a year and they haveing a very hard time to even pay that and i getting double as paid every month :/ for doin almost nothing!!

the world are really unfair :/ i wish it will change soon for the ppl out there
