Well, its time to make that decision. Shall we agree to once again renew the server? Or let it be..?

Amount due in 1 month: $168. Its not really a ton of money if there are more than 10 people willing to donate..

Donations will be accepted via paypal, but no payment is needed until mid June.

I think start our own servers by our comp sometimes is better than pay one who'll stay empty, plus it's expancive... when i was still LE i did a init.ini (note pad where we set our server Scripts/Dedicated/DefaultFragmatchSE/init.ini)

To be honest, I don't know if we should continue having a server up. From what people are saying, the server is generally empty and so the money won't be put to good use. I think one of these days we have to face the reality that Sam's time is about up. That day is today.

It was a good run. Best game I ever played.

Don't bother Sean. If I want to play I'll go to the "Real Men" server. Thanks for having it up all this time though. I had some great games on that server after the OUTLAWS one died.

you once told me they let you handle the amount of slots for the server, so maybe you could order a server with just a few slots and let the server still run with much more? :P right now there are 99 slots :D isnt it cheaper with less slots?

Its already set to a low number of slots (I just scripted it to hold more than I pay for).

Just seen this. Sorry, you know how often I make it to the forums. It seems the problem is there aren't enough players on the US side that use it...if I'm lucky to play anyone there, they complain they have a high ping and then I do the same on the across the water servers. Too bad it has to die for lack of interest. I haven't seen the "Real Men" server in a while, so I guess that does it for decent US servers. It was fun while it lasted.

I say we all just wait until SS HD comes out and then we can get a dedicated server running on that (hopefuly) kickass FE reboot.
