Well, I finally decided that my old mobile home is in need of retirement. It's 12x65 and a 1970. I found one and should have it in a week or two hopefully. It's 16x80 2009

W00t! You're gonna be the envy of your trailer park!

You're also going to piss off everyone on the highway when it gets delivered. 1280 square feet, sheesh, that's bigger than my first house.

Just out of curiosity, and if you'd rather not say that's fine, but how much does a mobile home that size cost?

I could have went smaller but I thought 16x80 was good for the price @ $39,900. It gets set up they pour the concrete, leveled, plumbing, central air, gutters full size (I added), 3BR, 2Ba, shingled roof, 200AMP service, Stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, blinds and curtains throughout, vinyl siding, vinyl windows double Payne and two set of prefabbed steppes.

Is that the carport on the right end? I'm guessing it is since it seems a large area to have no windows.

Show some pics of the interior! Congrats on the new place. That's great.

No, thats the end of the trailor, I don't have pics of the carport yet. I'm putting it on the left of the picture where my driveway is. Been needing the carport for a while ever since I moved down here full time, got to cover the vette up !!
And thanks

The kitchen looks really good. Nice layout. I like the built in entertainment center! I guess you just have to not ever get like a 72" LCD eh? Heh!

Looks all around great though. Nice place mate!

I don't get it? You live in a caravan that is concreted down to the ground?

Why not just build a house or am i missing something here. Please note us Brits don't live in caravans some of us just tow them to live in while on vacation.

Looks very nice though Slay!!

Many thousands of dollars difference if you build a house, your taxes go up and these days ,mobile homes are pretty nice and where I live with trees surrounding me I don't think I have much to worry about as far as tornadoe's, of corse there is allways the chance, house/mobilehome,,,.

you need to leave the city a bit more:) we have caravan parks all over the uk,my mate lives in one just up the road,he also has another in the south of france, both cost him £20.000 each(second hand) a decent static caravan will cost around £60.000 to £80.000 then you have expensive ground rates,my dad had one in wales that was used just for holidays but the rates got so high he sold up and bought a touring van instead.there is a caravan park in our home town and is a very nice place to live with views over the river,my daughter lived there for a while but had to move because the van was to old, once the vans are 13 years old they have to be moved from the site,so spending £60.000 on a static is not a good investment:down: there is other sites that dont have these rules but there sh1t holes and full of scum.when my kids are grown up and have left home i might just sell up and buy a static myself out in the country somewhere, they have all the mod cons and would put some cash in my back pocket:)

take me with you, pretty please ? Ill throw the empty cans out in the morning, and make everyone a coffee :D
