I am so tweaked! Xenosaga comes out tomorrow, a prelude to one of the best RPG's I have ever played...Xenogears!

Zenogears on the playstation was one of my favorites rpg's of all time...gott love fei('id'), cool character along with the rest...played that game like 5 different times

to bad its on the ps2 :bandhead:

I was really kicking ass on the game until my half-brother asked for the ps and i havent bought a new one yet.

I picked up the game on Friday and I can say it really kicks ass. If you liked FFX then you will like Xenosaga. It has a lot of cut scenes but I actually like watching them as they look good and are pretty interesting. So far great game.

Well I just got done with 3 more hours and they just flew by. The game is alot more balanced between cut scenes and gameplay now, and its actually getting hard now. The third boss in the game actually killed me. I don't think I've died this early in an RPG since I was a noob playing Dragon Warrior :D If the Wings weren't starting up I would still be playing.

Does it have the sudden encounters? (my dad was wondering)

Definitely worth buying as long as you know the first 6 hours or so are mostly cut scenes (although they are damn good). There's maybe 90 minutes of actual gameplay in there. After that it is mostly gameplay.

...and yes, you see your encounters like Crono Cross. No random encounters here.

Well so far I'm 21 hours in and the game still kicks ass. It has a better story than FFX and I actually look forward to the cut scenes. It looks like the game's story is taking a religious and darker turn so it will be interesting to see what's next.
