CF has a long tradition in serious sam

Here's the story of the CF (Complete Finisher) clan:

CF players have been around, ever since the demo of serious sam the first encounter.

After a while they grouped together as a small DeathMatch clan and they called themselves -CF- (Complete Finisher) Link (http://forums.seriouscommunity.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4479)

bla$ter -CF- was the clanleader at the time. He had a prodiguous young pupil named $peed -CF-. bla$ter was from Germany and $peed from the Netherlands...

CF began to grow and the clan developed mainly in Germany and the Netherlands, which explains the use of the flags in the earlier CF tags (some players had a German flag, others a Dutch one - however the Dutch one looked like a french flag because they couldn't layer the colors on top of each other)

CF was a much respected clan in Serious sam the first encounter and still remains a reference in ssam FE. Legendary members include bla$ter, $peed, Ma$ter and Remu$ (some you may still catch online in desert temple)

By the time Serious sam the Second Encounter demo was released, the Dutch CF branch had become dominant under the impulse of two brothers: $peed and Ma$ter.

They created Masters of Violence :::MoV::: and soon MoV dominated ssam SE demo. Members from that period were: $peed, Ma$ter, Dr. Sera$un, $moker, In$ane, etc...

At that time a Belgian guy discovered the world of online gaming by playing serious sam SE demo. He choose the name Aries and soon got wrapped up in the game.

the MoV players noticed Aries and although he was a noob, he got drafted into MoV by $peed (clan leader of MoV) and he became Arie$ :::MoV:::

Then Ma$ter and $peed made subdivisions in MoV...players that gathered around Ma$ter would play with :::MoV:::, players that hooked up with $peed wore :::SoV::: tags (Sons of Violence)

When the players started to play the full game (Ssam SE), the clan went back to their original tags, this time with a Dutch flag for all

-CF- was at the top of the game

But as time went by lag and high pings annoyed the CF players (mostly european) and they sought other challenges

Ma$ter lead an Rtcw division of CF

In the meanwhile there was one CF player left in serious sam, Aries

Out of pride and loyalty he tried to keep CF alive.

In this period Aries switched names a lot, but he stayed true to CF
here's a list of nicknames: Co$mo CF, ])aywalker CF, Oni CF, Eni$hi CF, Vash the $tampede CF, e$caflowne CF...

However recognition can best be obtained if you stick to one name
-]Aries@CF[- was chosen as the name to go by

Aries got licence from $peed to lead his own Serious Sam division

Aries gathered a new team of CF players which are the CF players you know today

Nicely done, Aries.

I quite admire what you have achieved with the re-emergence of CF; standards are high, your members are "cool", and you personally set a great example to all would-be clan leaders - certainly a class act in every respect. [thumbs up]

Story of CF

Most of the members of CF played the demo when it came out.. brothers
Ma$ter and Damien Black (now $peed) played them game and started to
become good, slowly they had potential to join clans.. so Damien joined
HEL (Hells Elite Legion) slowly the brothers started to break from the
clan, causing chaos and making most other members jelous with their
aim and gaming mind, they where the best. I joined HEL and was quite
unexperienced.. (HitMan was my name) after wining.. everyone in a trial
once they said that was just a practise trial and i had to have another
one.. so i agreed and beat them again.. closely followed my HEL Shadow
and HEL Lucifer (now $moker RDH, used to be CF in RTCW but CF wasnt
doing to well so they teamed) making friends with Damien over msn i
soon was asked to join a clan with them, i felt that i should stay at
HEL but at the same time i wanted to join up with the best. at first
the clan was called something else.. (i forget it must be 3 years ago
now) but then it changed to -CF- (complete finishers). then Bla$ter
joined up, he was not a founding member but.. joined just after me and
played the game none stop, he had been playing online games for 8 years
at that time and he was the best on Serious sam, after playing so much
it was just 4 of us, Ma$ter, $peed(then named osmething different)
Hitman and Bla$ter. I remember no one would come in to $peeds server
as he would just own anyone .. he started to become even better by
beating Bla$ter, the clan was then European. Me from england and the
others from Germany and The Netherlands. after playing it quite alot
i started to notice i was spending everyday playing for upto 12 hours
on serious sam.. so i thought i'd pack it in for abit..(while i was
gone it seemed afew members had joined (Remu$, In$ane and afew others)
i came back afew months later and the RTCW demo was out.. i started to
play that and saw that CF where playing.. i didnt feel like joining a
clan as i would become as addicted as i was before.. Remu$ has kept
the clan alive on SS:FE along with afew new members now.. A$$****ER,
Mai$ta and Pakkee. I am still quite good friends with.. the members on
SS:FE and i'm still quite a keen player on both RTCW and SS:FE, i
played the demo and full versions of SE and its.. not my kind of game..

erm.. i suppose thats.. abit more? i suck at serious sam and they just kept me around because i didnt mind getting beaten all the time :) just.. alittle target practise i guess.. well i didnt suck.. but compared to them i did?

Thank you HitMan for filling in the gaps...Since I was recruited at the time of the SS:SE demo, my knowledge of the CF history before that time was mainly hearsay.

I only met bla$ter once

but I'm well acquainted with Ma$ter, $peed, $moker and Remu$

well the SSFE team actually started with blaster,me(speed),dusk and serasun, later master, even more later in$ane, smoker and remus.
and as for SSSE it was speed, master, thunder, freezer and malo.
and its a nice article, but some mistakes here and there :)

I stumbeled over this forum and i feel like i need to post here.

There where more good players in the SSFE -CF- clan, like myselfe, Tefat -CF- :)
The history of -CF- is right, but i couldt read anywhere that we had more players the the SoV players that started -CF- in the first place.

Packee, Bastukee where the top two players in -CF- when i joined the clan back in 2002?

And we had players like NferiorDesiple aswell that where a top player back in the days.

Would be great to complete the member name list of all the people who've ever been in the clan, sadly my memory aint the best but i remeber a few.

Packee, Bastukee, Gun-Dude, Tefat (me), NferiorDesiple, Evolta, Soleous (Evoltas big brother).

I said back a few years ago that i would tatoo the -CF- clan tag with color and all. Sadly i havent done that yet, but that is something i'm deffo gona do. Once a -CF-, allways a -CF- !

Frag hard!
