I doubt anyone will ever see this but there is new free DAOC server called Phoenix that is a whole lot of fun. It's been out about a month and a half, has about 3k player pop daily (no bots), and is a ton of fun. The basic stage of DAOC is patch 1.65 which is pre-TOA. If anyone has any interest, would be happy to help get you going.

They close it down this year, not long ago. A new server is coming online. Rumor is it will be the classic server, and it might go with Steam. If done correctly it can bring back the life of Camelot in population. It can give Camelot an extended life and play this unique game that most of us enjoy playing. Watch for the possible news by October.
Ya, I think it will be called Atlas- it's in beta now. Phoenix was tremendous for the first 6 months or so, hopefully the new server will stick with OF and not put in a bunch of silly changes.
