    um, so i just re installed ss and i went to take a screenie, press f11, and it froze for a good couple of seconds..
    then i went to my main directory to open and post my victory and i had no screenshots folder.
    is there any other place they would have saved?

    I would search for .jpeg or .jpg files (or whatever extension those things save as) and see if you can find it. As long as you don't have tens of thousands of porn pictures on your computer it should be relatively easy to find...
