All I found on that was this,
typing 'behindview 1' (no quotes) into the console should do what you want . 'behindview 0' to switch it back to normal.

Now I wont guarentee this because I'm not home, also I hear there might be a mod coming out for this.

BEHINDVIEW 1 - Changes to third person view
BEHINDVIEW 0 - Changes to first person view

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."

Some people are like a slinky...
not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you shove them down the stairs.

Also theres no Crosshair in 3rd person correct?

Question : Why do you want to play a FPS like a 3rdPS?

If you like that sort of thing, have you tried Jedi Knight 2? (i like it and I hate star wars) you may find that fun, can pick it up cheap too!

Serious Sam has a 3rd person mode that lets you keep the crosshair, and if you can get used to the different way it aims its really helpful in a lot of situations.

But its not very true to the idea of an FPS, they probably should have left it out or made it not have a crosshair... but oh well, its there so I use it.

At that point, isn't it about the same as playing with no gun-draw? A lot of the best players play with crosshair only, as it gives a little better view of the situation. Never tried 3rd person.
