Formula 1 Fanatics Race League - Game Setup Instructions

In order to join our league, you will need to properly setup your EA Sports F1 Challenge '99-'02 game with the RH 2004 mod files along with also copying the Ferrari RH 2004 engine and vehicle files. To do this, follow the instructions below:


Installing F1 Challenge and the RH 2004 Mod files:

1. Install F1 Challenge like you normally would.

2. Download 2004RH 4 F1C99-02 v1.05 Basic file, unzip the file downloaded and run the executable that comes in the zip file.

Scroll down to the downloads section and click on the 1st file you see named 2004RH 4 F1C99-02 v1.05 Basic.

3. Download 2004RH Expansionpack 4 F1C99-02 v1.05 file, unzip the file downloaded and run the executable that comes in the zip file.

4. Download 2004RH Trackpack 4 F1C99-02 v1.05 file, unzip the file downloaded and run the executable that comes in the zip file.

Copy the following link to your browser and download the 2004RH Trackpack 4 F1C99-02 v1.05 file: (YOU MUST COPY THE LINK TO YOUR BROWSER AND NOT JUST CLICK THE LINK TO GO TO THE CORRECT PAGE. IF YOU SIMPLY CLICK THE LINK YOU WILL RECEIVE A LINKING ERROR)

Scroll down to the downloads section and click on the 3rd file you see named 2004RH Trackpack 4 F1C99-02 v1.05.

5. Your game now has all the required files and updates to run the RH 2004 Mod.




Next copy the Ferrari vehicle and engine files to your car's directory. This will assure that everyone has the same car type no matter what make of car you use and insure fairness in the game:

1. Located the directory where you installed F1 Challenge.

2. Double click on the SeasonData\Vehicles folder and then double click on the 2004 Ferrari folder.

3. Copy both the ENGINE.INI and 2004_Ferrari.hdv file.

4. Paste the files you just copied into the \SeasonData\Vehicles\<your car make>\2004 RH folder. Say yes to overwrite any file.

5. Next rename your car make's .hdv file to a temporary name and then rename the 2004_Ferrari.hdv file to your car make's name.

ie. If you are Renault you would do this:

Rename 2004_Ferrari.hdv to 2004_Renault.hdv. Make sure NOT to alter the files in anyway for this will result in a mismatch in the game and disqualify you from the race.

6. Once this is complete you are now fully ready to play in the Formula 1 Fanatics league. Good luck!
