    CoD2 Problem

    With my new 8800GTX card I wanted to replay some odler games at max specs. I have the steam version of the game and every time i try to adjust the graphics properties it crashes saying directx encountered an unrecoverable error. Whats up with that?

    Fixed: Turns out XFire was the culprit, turned it off and it loads fine now

    Cage do you play this often? I actually loved cod2 out of them all but Cod4 when I was acive in it had a little more to offer except in the audio department such as the surround sound. If youa re playing let me know if the servers are active and I will reload and catch you in game some time.

    I just did the single player campaign, never really got into the multiplayer scene
