WOW .... 32 pages, that's right, I said 32 pages of people requesting Freezetag.
I just visited here, and it's a blast. Almost like playing back in the day! Will have to do more searching and see if they have the freezetag mod available to play, that would just rock!!

I installed Q3 arena the other day, and well I can't join anything cause I don't have the maps. I can't find where to download the map packs anywhere, anywhere where I don't have to register or any of that crap. Then I am starting to recall all the hasle of install, setup, tweak, tweak, tweak and tweak some more!
There was something I had for logitech mice, I can't remember exactly what it did though. I know I can't get some of my buttons to work, maybe that fixed that issue or something.
Maybe time to bang on Frag's door and see if he still remembers this stuff, and get something going again

I loved that game, but not enough people played it and all the server specific crap sucked too!

That is the beauty of Quake Live. You do not need the game, its a download for Firefox. There is a fair amount of settings right on the website, so you don't have to go command variable crazy.(although you could if you wanted)Originally Posted by Grimmy

There are 34 maps and you may join any server you like. No server specific crap.
And yes, Freezetag would be mondo cool to play again.

When Darkness Falls the Knight Rises
Man this is MAC! I finally got around to installing it and it's way easy to get going in a matter of minutes. I was really impressed at the amount of maps and how fast everything loads, I was expecting long load times. Like Dan said, most any setting you want/need is in the setup menu instead of having to launch custom command files every time like we did with Q3.
I've wore my mouse's feet on Facebook games, I quickly found out it needs some new pads BAD if i'm going to do FPS again.
