Jesus! You ever heard of image resizing?![]()
I just wanted to plug the second monitor to my computer. I actually have 2 video cards, the main (Radeon HD 2600 Pro) and an integrated one in my mainboard (ATI RS690).
Unfortunately, when my Radeon HD is active, the integrated video card turns off, so I can't use both at the same time. Is that normal? Is it possible to use both at the same time to plug the 2nd monitor?

It works fine on an ATI card too (at least, it does on mine. i see no reason why it wouldn't on others).
If your 2nd monitor uses VGA too, you'll need a DVI-to-VGA converter like this one:

You can either find one online, or check a store like Best Buy, or Radioshack.
To use the onboard video controller along with an inserted pcie controller card, you just need to enable that solution in the bios. Being your system is from an oem, you may be limited to such thing.
It should be possible to have all 4 video ports running if it can be enabled in the bios. Bottom line, I would just use the other DVI port on the new video card.
My board only allows you to use one or the other, not both.
