I can't figure out why this thread is being redirected to the Outlaws Saloon of all places. It belongs here.
I'm sorry to hear about V98ci. I wish I knew him better, but I do know he was a worthy and honorable opponent. Judging by his demeanor in-game, I'm guessing he was an outstanding person in real life. He will be missed.
Yeah, he was great fun to play with. Never knew him except in the game, but he was solid and classy player.
RIP Father.
I asked or should I say requested to start a Memorial Section and thanks to Shogun who immediately started one when Mark (FS) passed away. I was so heart broken to hear of and young bright man like FS who faded away to the winds and to the stars. I’m glad I requested this because I like to always remember good people and friends.
V is how I would always use as a name and he would call me SAS. We spoke a few times on the phone and my brother really liked him a lot. I remember V as a person with a great sense of humor even when he first started as a DOA member. His humor was excellent and a heart of gold. Extremely pleasant to talk to and at times wise with words when needed.
Another fine man who has touch my heart and now fades away to the wind and to the stars. I will be passing by my brothers’ place tomorrow and will tell him of the sad news. He will be sadden by it because V and my brother would play a lot and term in DAOC long ago and he love there company.
News of this makes me think a lot of many mistakes I have made in the passed, but it also helps me understand how important to respect people and most of all to forgive.
V --- I know he believed in a Deity of great love and power, and so I say enjoy your perfect golf course. Be at peace V and enjoy the winds and the stars while you are on your way home.
SAS
RIP my friend and in spirit.
